Presteigne, our local town, is less than a mile away and a comfortable twenty minute stroll either cross country or down our lovely country lanes. It is a small town of great charm and interest, with quirky shops, pubs and wine bars, butchers, delis and restaurants. The Judge’s Lodging was voted among the UK’s 10 best small museums. There are also wonderful short and picturesque walks to be found hereabouts, and a public footpath goes directly past the house towards the famous Offa’s Dyke.
The woodland around Paradise Farmhouse teems with flora and fauna. Every day starts with an astonishing chorus of birdsong; every walk reveals a rich variety of birds and beasts.
